Meet the Panel Miles Adcox, Onsite CEO Lindsey Nobles, VP of Marketing Lindsey Nobles, VP of Marketing
Today, we will be debunking some of the most common emotional health myths that keep us from living a life of connection and contentment.
Myth #1 Myth: Emotional wellness work is not worth the time or resources. Truth: Without a clear understanding of where you are today, it s near impossible to make positive, sustainable change in your life and build the future you want.
Myth #2 Myth: If people truly see and know me, they won t accept me. Truth: True connection is ONLY built in the context of a safe community. The walls we use to protect us often stand in the way of our relationships.
Myth #3 Myth: It s in the past. There s no use in going back. Truth: There is strength, beauty, and healing in reconnecting with who we were before we became who the world told us we needed to be.
Myth #4 Myth: The problems in my life at work, in my relationships, etc. are just circumstantial. Truth: If it's hysterical, it's historical. We are all impacted by the patterns of our past; if we don't unpack them, parts of ourselves will remain stuck, making it difficult to move forward.
Myth #5 My success or failure is dependent on me crossing the right benchmarks at the right time. Truth: If we don t want to cross a finish line that isn t ours, we have to make a plan.
Myth #6 I ll be happy when ______. Truth: Life is more about embracing the journey than the destination.
How can we speak truth Reset to these myths and move forward more Recalibrate connected to ourselves, others, and the world Reconnect around us?
