The Holy Spirit in Scripture 78 passages from Genesis to Revelation the word spirit appears 563 times in the New International Version of the Bible not all of those are the Holy Spirit, e.g., So the Lord said to Moses, Take Joshua son of Nun, a man in whom is the spirit of leadership, and lay your hand on him.
