  1. Open ELS (and EG)

  2. Board meeting July The RFI / RFP process was agreed following GA2017 approval to secure partnership to develop an operational ELS. Initial feedback from market analysis and interviews with selected partners suggests that a full partnership is of no or little interest. MB has asked that EGHO and Programme Board reassesses the best way forward to deliver on our vision for operational European Location Services.

  3. Open ELS project will continue, with a further CEF bid to be submitted. 2 mill euro + in four years Further discussions with the EC and interested Institutions to explore evaluation of their requirements and solutions for a sustainable service to be developed.

  4. Summing up No private partnership How to develop the deliverances to satisfy the EC in general and the Commission in special? Over time economical challenges ? And more than that?

  5. To discuss: the support from members? Why some members do not contribute to EG products and services? Are there still some confusion about the strategy? What is the DNA of EG? Are some members dissatiesfied with their membership? Processes or products? Or their own lacking possibilities to deliver? Cultur language misunderstanding og the EU contracts HO doing av very good job! Are there possibilities for improvements of the communication between HO and members?
