Modern and future computing relies heavily on general-purpose accelerators. This project focuses on democratising accelerator programming by enabling affordable access to GPU programming through the implementation of Brook.GLES.Pi on low-cost educational computers like Raspberry Pi. By porting an open-source accelerator programming language, it allows for standalone development, teaching, experimenting, and learning of GPGPU programming. The solution utilizes the capabilities of the embedded GPU VideoCore IV, providing a cost-effective means for exploring the programming paradigm of accelerators.
