Deploying Technology in Santa Clara County SSA During a Pandemic
Santa Clara County SSA faced the challenge of deploying technology during a pandemic, adapting quickly to a shelter-in-place order. This involved distributing laptops, setting up teams for hardware and software deployment, and training staff remotely. The process included assembly line hardware deployment, software configuration, and troubleshooting. Various applications and tools were deployed to enable remote work efficiently. Challenges such as IP Communicator installation and VPN bandwidth were addressed along the way, showcasing adaptability and problem-solving skills.
