SPECIALIZED UNIT 1995-Present Crisis Intervention Unit (CIU) Originally formed as Hostage Negotiations Unit (HNU). Name was changed in early 2000 s due to fact most calls were for subjects in crisis due to mental health and drug related issues. 12 person unit made up of deputies and sergeants from various duty stations and assignments MISSION: To respond to situations where special negotiation skills become necessary to reach a peaceful and safe resolution for the members of the community and the agency.
PARTNERSHIPS 2017 Center for Autism and Related Disorders Will be conducting future Autism training for agency Youth and Family Services Bureau Manager Kelly Glossup, LCSW has been conducting training for our agency regarding how to recognize people with mental health issues and services and resources for them
