DesignX.Blueprint.Competition Registration Design Submission Team
This competition involves designing and submitting a prototype for the Global Hyperloop Competition in February 2025. Teams need to follow specific guidelines, select subsystems, and provide technical specifications for their design. The content outlines the required template, subsystems, topics, and word limits for submissions.

DesignX Blueprint Competition Registration Design Submission (RDS) Team Name : Affiliated Educational Institute : Team Representative Name : Contact Number : E-Mail ID: Approximate number of team members : Global Hyperloop Competition February 2025
Guidelines 1. Template usage: Please use the provided template to prepare your RDS document. Download the file in .pptx format, add your team's details and the relevant subsystem information, and submit the final document as a .pdf file. 2. Subsystems: The following slides outline the various subsystems and topics that fall under them. Teams are required to select the applicable subsystems for which they will be submitting designs. Minor modifications/additions to the chosen subsystems will be accepted in the PDS submission given that they are adequately highlighted. 3. Word Limit: The limit for description of design choices and rationale for each topic is 50 words. Additionally, teams can describe other miscellaneous topics using a maximum of 100 words. 4. Important Note: Please do not include this slide in the final RDS submission. 5. The edited version of this document must be submitted before 15th October 2024, 23:59 IST.
Subsystem Overview and Technical Specifications Provide the subsystem specifications exclusively for the subsystems included in your prototype, ensuring that the information is clear and concise. Limit the content to a maximum of two slides per subsystem. Additionally, include a brief explanation of the design principles for each subsystem. A few topics that can be covered under each subsystem are listed below. If there are any sub-categories that are not mentioned, teams are welcome to include them in their RDS document to ensure a comprehensive design. Mechanical subsystem: Mechanical Brakes Mechanical suspension Stability Chassis Shell Track structure Other (please mention) Traction subsystem: Thrust Frictionless Braking Control loop architecture Other (please mention) Embedded Systems subsystem: Control system Data acquisition (sensor network) Signal processing Controllers Communication systems Localisation systems Safety system Other (please mention) Electrical subsystem: Power supply Electrical integration Power conversion stages Battery and battery management systems Other (please mention) Levitation subsystem: Contactless Control loop architecture Other (please mention) Thermal subsystem: Cooling principle
[Subsystem Name] Topics Design Choices & Rationale This format is applicable to all subsystems and should be consistently applied across each one. You may replicate this structure for every subsystem to maintain uniformity and clarity throughout the specifications. You may also delete this textbox for the final submission.
Traction Subsystem Topics Design Choices & Rationale Thrust Our propulsion system employs a contactless propulsion method via the use of LIMs. This choice has been made owing to their simplicity and low cost. Our motor is developed for the standard GHC track and is in a double sided configuration to avoid interference with levitation systems. Frictionless braking Control loop architecture Other miscellaneous points A sample submission
