Detailed Recap of Beam Parameters and Progress Meeting Agreements
This document outlines the discussions and agreements made during the recent meeting regarding recording beam parameters for specific machines, shift planning, and follow-up activities. It also highlights the responsibilities assigned to different individuals and invites further presentation of results and progress in the upcoming meeting.

Presentation Transcript
Dear all, during our last meeting on Nov. 18th we defined the beam parameters to be recorded using which machines (last two slides of attachment). Additionally, we agreed on follow-up activities. I hereby cordially invite to the next meeting to present the results / status of these activities. These activities are listed below together with the respective person in charge: - confirm or re-define the number of shifts needed for individual machine tuning: o UNILAC: 6 (Hartmut) o SIS18: 4 (Jens) o ESR: 4 (Markus) o FRS: 4 (Emma) - we agreed already that a total of six shifts shall be foreseen to consistently record the defined parameters after individual machine tuning - definition of time slot for the campaign (Stephan) We also agreed that the subsequent persons shall define the detailed shift planning (program, persons), depts. needed on call, data logging procedure, and equipment preparation: Ralph, Winfried, Peter Sp., Markus St., and Emma. Hence, I kindly ask the machine coordinators to present their needs w.r.t. amount of shifts and the dept. heads to present their individual progress of planning during that meeting. Participants to meeting on 03.03.2020: Query of achieved beam parameters 1
Motivation GSI shall report the status on what has been really achieved at existing facilities w.r.t. beam parameters essential content of measured-parameters list: what parameter, where, when parameter, nomenclature of device, date & time prefered: data that was stored in and is retrievable from log files (transmissions, emittances, profiles, ...), i.e., location- and time-stamped data files available from CS Beam parameter campaign 2020 2
Data collection AccOp head asked LG to inquire these data from the MKs Template table has been agreed and sent out Query is initially restricted to data related to uranium FAIR reference, i.e., : source: 238U4+ post-stripper: 28+ SIS18: 28+ ESR: whatever Beam parameter campaign 2020 3
