Developing an Education Campaign on Misclassification for Employers and Workers
Enhance awareness about misclassification issues among employers, employees, and independent contractors through an aggressive educational campaign. The goal is for 90% of employers and workers to understand misclassification definitions, costs, and where to seek help. Proposed steps include targeting new entrants to the workforce, Spanish-speaking communities, and the construction industry through various channels. The timeline involves identifying stakeholders, beginning targeted messaging, measuring audience familiarity, and pursuing paid channels based on funding availability.
