NYSCI Staff Council The Staff Council is a collaborative group, comprised of team members from across the museum, representative of a variety of roles, work experiences and levels of responsibilities. Working collaboratively, this committee makes recommendations to the senior management team, that shape our institutional practices, create greater transparency around our practices, and increase and enhance communication across the museum.
Staff Council: Mission Statement The NYSCI Staff Council will make NYSCI a great place to work by assisting leadership to transform our work environment to be a place where a community culture, equity, and inclusivity is fostered and valued; where transparency and openness are nurtured in communication and action; where staff are empowered stakeholders and active problem solvers; where professional growth is a shared goal amongst staff and leadership; and where advocacy and collaboration fare the cornerstone of every decision.
