Junior Year Information Junior Classification at least 2 years of high school and earned at least 10 credits overall. You need 7 credits in core classes (English, Math, Science, Social Studies, or PE/ROTC). Graduation Requirements: LEAP 2025: Must pass one test in the following categories: English I or English II Algebra I or Geometry Biology I or US History Meet your graduation pathway requirements (TOPS University, Jumpstart, or Hi Set) Complete the FAFSA 2021-2022
Career Search Step 1: Know your strengths and interests What is important to you? Time with family, $$$, making a difference in the world? Do you enjoy working with people? Machines? Details? Creative Ideas? Take interest inventories like RIASEC. Go to www.careeronestop.org, www.16personalities.com to take a self- assessment. Step 2: Seek guidance and direction Speak with family, neighbors, and strangers about their careers. Step 3: Begin researching your career choices Do you need a Bachelor's Degree, Associate s degree, Certificate, or a license? Dual Enrollment off Campus Senior students can enroll at local universities and colleges (Delgado, Southeastern, UNO, and River Parish Community College) Must have a 2.75 overall GPA Must earn an 18 in ELA and 19 in Mathematics on the ACT in order to qualify for academic courses SCA Fund$ are available (we may be able to pay!) MUST contact your counselor prior qualify for SCA Funding.

How to pay for Post-secondary school **Graduation Requirement- All students must complete the FAFSA in their senior year** Scholarships are based on academic and athletic, talent, interviews, essays Grants - money offered by the Federal and state Govt for families with financial need.
