EXPLORING STORYTELLING When listening, watching and/or viewing the digital stories being presented, think about: 1. What forms can stories take? 2. What can we learn about people/society from stories? 3. How can stories be used to create/influence change? After each presentation, you will be asked to add your reflective thoughts to the relevant pieces of flipchart. We will review these later.
EXPLORING STORYTELLING (REVIEW) What forms can stories take? What can we learn from stories? How can stories help to create change? What do stories tell us about people? What is the value of the knowledge in stories? Does the form of the story influence its content? What do stories tell us about society? What techniques or methods can we use to help knowledge from stories be used to create change? Have story forms changed over the years? How are they different from other sources of information? Does culture influence story form?
WHAT IS CURATION? CURRENT KNOWLEDGE Task: Note down on individual post-it notes the different places both online and offline where we might find examples of curation. We will then review and group these responses. Task: Working in small teams, use the Where do we find curation? task sheet to research a place of curation further. You will then present back your findings to the group. FURTHER RESEARCH
