DIKSHA - Journey so far Intent Strategy Launch Budget Rollout India Wide PM e-Vidya Mar 2017 May 2017 Sep 2017 Feb 2018 June 2018 Jun 2019 May 2020 PM eVIDYA' programme will consist of 'DIKSHA' involving e-content and QR coded energized textbooks for all grades and will be called as 'one nation, one digital platform'. Technology will be used to upgrade the skills of teachers through the recently launched DIKSHA On the occasion of Teacher s day, Hon.Vice President of India, dedicated DIKSHA, A National digital Teachers,to the nation DIKSHA Infrastructure that states can use for their respective teacher-centric initiatives. Teachers will be able to use DIKSHA to access and create high quality teaching, learning and assessment resources for all subjects and levels in all Indian languages. DIKSHA: Transforming Education through Digital Infrastructure DIKSHA (Digital Infrastructure for Knowledge Sharing) is a national platform for school education, an initiative of National Council for Educational Research and Training (NCERT), under the aegis of the Ministry of Education (MoE), GoI. Launched in 2017 NEP 2020 Aligned Supports competency-based learning, teacher capacity building, and universal access to quality digital education. Multi-Language Content available in multiple Indian languages 01 Federated Structure Each Tenant independent portal supporting learn, help learn &manage Learn capabilities 05 02 on DIKSHA acts as NDEAR-Aligned Supports National Digital Education Architecture (NDEAR) principles for interoperability and scalability. 04 03 Vast Repository Access to digital textbooks, e-content, and interactive learning materials.

DIKSHA: Bridging Learning with Powerful Features and Content Features of DIKSHA Digital Content Variety -DIKSHA Assessment Questions Energized Textbooks Courses Infographics Guidelines/Hand books Videos/ISL Videos Audios, Talking Books, Audio Books Interactive and Immersive Content Worksheets Contents are distributed in 6 verticals :Foundational Literacy and Numeracy, Education for All, Virtual Labs, Jaadui Pitara, Vocational Education & Equitable and Inclusive Education Learning for All

  5. Energised Textbooks (ETBs) ETBs are QR( Quick Response) code embedded textbooks. Textbooks of States, UTs, CBSE, ICSE are embedded with QR codes and linked with DIKSHA. The users can access various digital content by scanning QR Codes thereby overcoming the limitation of limited textbook content variety in 7,467 + Textbooks of States, UTs, NCERT, etc. are available on DIKSHA and linked with physical books with QR codes. More than 3.5+ lakhs e-Contents are mapped with these textbooks

DIKSHA DASHBOARD National and State wise User metrics A has been developed and new dashboard integrated into the DIKSHA homepage to offer a comprehensive, summarized view of key metrics related to users, usage, content, and course.   9. AI based Video Keyword Search Live for all tenants (Science and Mathematics ; Grade 8 to 12) Advanced video search capabilities, allowing users to search for specific content within videos. Enhance the discoverability of relevant resources by quickly directing users to the content they need.

  10. Mandatory Login on DIKSHA To access DIKSHA content, registration and login are now mandatory. Previously, DIKSHA could be accessed through guest login. Key changes: A pop-up prompts users to complete their profile. Users must fill in the following Personal Details (mandatory): Name Users are also required to provide their Academic Details (mandatory): Board Medium Role Class State District

  11. Learning Management System (LMS) on DIKSHA The Learning Management System (LMS) on DIKSHA is designed to facilitate structured learning, course management, and digital content delivery for teachers, students, and administrators. DIKSHA LMS on App DIKSHA LMS on Web Portal Login is required to avail DIKSHA Courses A dedicated tab will be added to the DIKSHA web portal for easy access to the LMS platform. The LMS app will need to be installed on the device only once for seamless access.
