Company Description We decided to create a site, a sports portal . we call it Findyoursport.com.cy In this site someone will be able to give personal details (biometrics, hobbies, likes and dislikes, etc.) and the site, with the help of an algorithm , will suggest which sport the user of this service can follow. The user will also get advice about the equipment he will need, where to buy them and where to find place to exercise.

Company Description We plan to make profit from 1. Advertisements Gyms of our region, shops that sell athletic equipment, will want to advertise themselves in our site. 2 . Sponsors Companies , athletic organizations will sponsor our site, so our algorithm help our users to move towards specific sport, gym, shop to buy athletic apparel.

Market Analysis Fitness, healthy way of life, self improvement are the trends of our times. Paphos district has a population 90.500 people If we focus in ages from 10-60 we have a target group of 50.000 people In our district we have athletic organizations that want to attract new members in their K-12 ..K18 teams. Football : 1 team in 1stDivision, about 20 other teams in lower Divisions. Basketball : 1 team in 1stDivision, 4 other teams in lower Divisions. Volleyball : 1 team in 1stDivision, 4 other teams in lower Divisions. About 40 other athletic organizations in various sports, like Athletics, Tennis, Badminton, Dance, Table Tennis, Swimming etc.

Market Analysis 30 gyms and fitness clubs Almost all Hotels (3stars and more) in our region, have a fitness club. 23 Specialized Shops in Selling sports equipment and many more that have sports department. Many new shops are now opening selling food supplements. We want to attract these shops and organizations to be sponsors and to be advertised through our portal.

Organization and management Board of Directors ( 5 teachers + number of students ) The supreme authority of the company. Everything will be decided here. President & Chief Executive He will have the main duty to make decisions of the board come true. Because of the laws in our Country, all will work as volunteers.

Service Our Portal will provide two way service. The users of the Portal will find a sport to follow, very close to their needs and hobbies. The local gyms and athletic institutions will find new members and the local shops will attract new customers. They will also have a new place to advertise their activities.

Funding request For creating our site we will face some specific costs. 1. Obtaining our URL, around 100. 2. Designing the site , 500 3. Web hosting 150/per year ( This will increase when the popularity of traffic of the site will increase) 4. Accounting costs 50/per month( This will increase when we will have more transactions) 5. Fees for creating the company 350 for registration, 300 for the municipality of Paphos, where our company will have physical address. 6. 1000 for the layer who will create all the documents about the organization. 7. 150/per month for running costs

Funding request So if we sum up all these we have a cost of 4000 euros for the first year. 2000 for registration, taxes, lawyer etc. 800 for designing , webhosting etc. 600 for accounting 800 for running costs. The second year, without the registrations costs, the cost of running this portal will drop to 2000 (webhosting, accounting, running costs). If the popularity of the portal grows, we expect an increase of this cost 10% per year (inflation 2%, accounting costs depending of the number of transactions etc.) We would try cover the registration cost with donations from the teachers of the school, administration and the parents of the school.

Marketing Sales In Marketing we will focus in two directions Advertisement. We will provide hosting of advertising Banners in various sizes in the site. Hosting of banner will start at 20/per month and it can grow further depending the size. Local advertising agencies we have contact, say that we can start easily with 3-4 banners in our site because of the dynamic population group 20-35 we focus on. If our popularity grows we can rise our prices

Marketing Sales Sponsors We will seek for companies that they will pay so our algorithm will present them first in the list of the possible sports, the user of our service can follow (like google search engine does). This Service can be much more profitable for our company and also can create longer lasting retaliations with companies who will use it. Our local advertising agent suggested a price of 200-300 euros per month for such service. This can change depending the popularity of the portal. We can have 1-2 sponsors at the beginning of the site.

Conclusions Our portal can find sponsors and partners in the local sports industry We provide service and not product, so no logistics and constructive costs. We don t need production line or suppliers or raw materials. The registration cost at the beginning of the company is significant If we cover the registration cost, then we have a significant profit margin.
