My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, 2turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding Word of God Proverbs 2:1-11 NIV
3indeed, if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, 4and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, 5then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God. Word of God Proverbs 2:1-11 NIV
6For the LORD gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. 7He holds success in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, 8for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones. Word of God Proverbs 2:1-11 NIV

Reveals the Wisdom and Purposes of God
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. Word of God Proverbs 9:10 NIV

Conclusion: Let us give thanks for His Word that is not only a lamp unto our feet, but also a shelter and refuge; a powerful weapon against evil forces; a comfort in troubled times; and a promise of His everlasting love. There is no greater treasure to store up, than His Word.
