Discretionary NOSAC Recommendations Database Development
Status of recommendations dating back to 2015, tracking actions, and reporting mechanisms for the Committee. Database development for better transparency and tracking of approx. 300 recommendations from final reports on various maritime sectors like commercial diving, cyber security, and well intervention. Process of submitting final reports for review, discussion, and dissemination to USCG program offices. Evaluation process led by different USCG offices to review recommendation status and identify course of action.

Status of Recommendations Initial Database developed Approx 300 Recommendations 8 Final Reports Enable better tracking of recommendations Provides greater transparency
Recommendation tracking Identify the recommendations from reports dating back to 2015 Track the status of actions on the recommendations Have a mechanism for reporting back to the Committee, the status Ensure we did not lose sight of the recommendations once the new version of NOSAC was stood up.
Final Reports Included Regulatory Reform (all four parts) Commercial Diving on the OCS Cyber Security Towage of MODUs, MOUs and FOIs Well Intervention (Parts 1 & 2) SMS for Well Intervention Vessels 2017 Hurricane Lessons Learned
Final Reports Process Report submitted to the Committee for review and discussion. Once accepted by the Committee, the report is deemed final and transmitted to the USCG Received by CG-5P and then disseminated to respective program offices.
