Important points for module 20 Categories range from N00 to N99. 82 of the 100 available categories have been allocated. 9 of the categories have asterisk codes. Chapter 14 has 8 exclusions listed at chapter level.
Important points for module 20 There are 11 blocks. The last block, N99, refers to Other disorders of the genitourinary tract . An additional code from N17-N19 Renal Failure can be used, to identify the presence of renal failure.
Important points for module 20 N00-N08 three character categories relate to syndromes & 4th character to morphological changes Dysplasia of the cervix, vagina & vulva are classified by severity in categories N87, N89 & N90
