Course Instructor Assignment Ties the instructor to the course Must have staff snapshot, Location Marking Period, and Course Templates in Level 0 All staff that are responsible for teaching students must be connected to a course Requires start and end date for teachers on the course, but does not factor in staff attendance Librarians should be connected to a course and section If they do not teach specific classes, students do not need to be scheduled Enter co-teachers, including Special Education, ENL (ELL) and AIS teachers
Course Instructor Assignment Enter speech teacher only if teaching in one of these areas Public Speaking, Communications, Forensic Speech- Inclusive, Forensic Speech- Debate, Forensic Speech- Individual Event, Speech- Independent Study, Speech- Workplace Experience, or Speech- Other. Enter resource room teachers to the appropriate courses and students. Enter teachers in self-contained classrooms connected to the appropriate course and students Refer to SIRS manual for further assistance
