Assist the DG in early planning (when requested) Support of the DG s goals Actively assist on district committees Host district events when requested, e.g., district conference - hospitality suite, sergeant at arms Host and coordinate the district governor/club installation dinner

  10. What are the clubs responsibilities? Club should have strong representation at all district events (hosting, attendance, involvement, etc.) District Assembly Foundation Grant Seminar District Conference Etc.

  11. What are the clubs responsibilities? Rotary Foundation Support Meet club goals for Polio and TRF contributions Increase Bequest Society membership Increase Benefactors membership Increase the number of Paul Harris Fellows Increase the number of Paul Harris Society members

  12. What are the clubs responsibilities? While Rotary International reimburses the DG for the cost of official visits, office supplies and communications expenses, as well as attendance at key events and some local travel and administrative expenses, the DG attends many club functions and other Rotary events at his/her own expense, e.g., zone and district service projects.

  13. What are the clubs responsibilities? Some Clubs, furnish a stipend to assist DG with expenses such as, Speaking fees for speakers at District Conference and other district events, and/or Participation in club raffles and other fundraisers.

  14. Please consider Budgeting funds for Rick s DG year that could be used to fund the cost of speakers at conferences and/or offset the cost of participation in club fundraisers. As other DG s have done, if participation in a fundraiser, such as a raffle, results in winnings, those winnings would be used to fund other speakers or fundraisers and any amounts remaining at the end of the year would belong to the Rotary Club of Elgin.
