Step 4 & 5: Driver diagrams and change ideas A driver diagram describes how the various project activities and change ideas will work together to achieve the aim. Review the driver diagram for your project. HINTS & TIPS: Has every member of the team had the opportunity to review the driver diagram and suggest change ideas? Have you considered how you will raise awareness of the improvements you will make and how you will share your success internally and externally? Has anyone else tried solving this problem check the evidence base? Review all your change ideas do these fit into themes (the themes should be your primary drivers)? Do your change ideas increase the likelihood of the team following the correct process? Do they decrease the likelihood of mistakes, such as forgetting tasks, missed communications etc.? Now prioritise, which change idea do you want to test first? Number your top three change ideas in the order you want to test them
