Duplex Steel UNS 2205 Sheets The material used in the production of Duplex Steel 2205 Perforated Sheets must also conform to the specified mechanical properties mentioned here as well. Often, the Duplex Steel 2205 Plates could be used as an alternative to the rather expensive stainless steel alloy grade 904L due to the 2205 SS Plate having similar properties but with cheaper ingredients. Duplex plate has a two or dual phase micro structure. The microstructure of the Duplex Steel S32205 Foil consists of ferrite and austenitic in an equal proportion.
