Duties of a Title IX Compliance Officer
Designate a Title IX Coordinator to ensure compliance with Title IX responsibilities. The Coordinator should have authority and specific duties reflecting these responsibilities. The role must be independent and report to senior leadership. Consider designating a full-time coordinator and potentially having multiple coordinators for larger school districts. Responsibilities include overseeing grievance procedures for resolving Title IX complaints and drafting/revising policies on sex discrimination.
