DWG Report to ROS Javier Martinez DWG Chair September 7, 2023
DWG Update DWG WebEx meeting held on 8/22/2023 DWG 2024 Flat-start Activities 2024 DWG Flat-start pass 1 will posted by September 7th. TSP to complete review and provide feedback of pass 1, by September 21st. Update on Guideline for a Limited Dynamic Stability Study ERCOT discussed some of the updates to the limited Dynamic Stability study for IBRs. This guideline will be used as a reference for PGRR109. FAC-014-3 R7 ERCOT discussed the compliance changes related to the new FAC-014 standard.
NOGRR 255-High Resolution Data Requirements ERCOT presented the current state of NOGRR255 and went through the language changes. DWG and ERCOT agreed further time was required for DWG members to review NOGRR255, in order to provide feedback. DWG plans to provide an update during the October ROS meeting.
DWG Procedure Manual Update DWG was expecting to have a vote on the DWG manual update, but there are still ongoing discussion on the language changes being proposed. DWG plans to include the vote from ROS during the October ROS agenda.
