1. IIC has engaged M/s Karvy to conduct E-voting for elections to Board of Trustees & Executive Committee 2. M/s Karvy is an ISO 9002 certified company with highest standards with respect to information security and management systems 3. Karvy e-Voting has been certified by STQC (Standardisation Testing and Quality Certification) and approved by MCA (Ministry of Corporate Affairs). General Instructions for IIC e-Voting All eligible members will receive an email communication from M/s Karvy with respect to E-voting of IIC on 16.02.2019 on their registered email (registered with IIC) Click on the link provided in the communication which will direct you to E-voting home page ( or ) Open the KARVY E-voting portal link (https://evoting.karvy.com) using your system browser E-voting portal homepage will consist Biosketch of contesting candidates for each category E-voting will be enabled from 0900 hrs. (IST) on 18.02.2019 onwards and shall remain open till 1700 hrs. (IST) on 25.02.2019 .

Picture of Candidate Biosketch of Corporate Category - Member Bioprofile of Prof. Sachin Chaturvedi, Director General of RIS Prof. Sachin Chaturvedi is Director General at the Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS), a New Delhi-based policy research institute, supported by the Government of India. He was Global Justice Fellow at the MacMillan Center for International Affairs at Yale University. He has done his Ph.D. in Economics. He works on issues related to development economics, involving development finance. He is also on the board of the Reserve Bank of India. He has authored/edited 10 books, apart from contributing chapters in edited volumes and publishing several research articles in various prestigious journals. He has served as a Visiting Professor at the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). He had been a Developing Country Fellow at the University of Amsterdam (1996) and Visiting Fellow at the Institute of Advanced Studies, Shimla (2003), and Visiting Scholar at the German Development Institute (2007). He is also on the Editorial Advisory Board of IDS Bulletin, Sussex, UK.
Procedure for casting votes by members Login by using the login credentials communicated through email.
Upon first login, members need to mandatorily change their password. Password Example : Iic@1234
Upon successful change of password, members need to login with new login credentials to complete voting process for IIC. Click on Submit button for Voting Page
There are two different selection list based upon the category Individual Member Corporate Member
Individual - Member Members need to select ONLY ONE candidate for Board of Trustees and ANY TWO candidates for Executive Committee. Upon selection of requisite numbers, the other selection options will get disabled
Corporate Institutions Members need to select ONE candidate for Board of Trustees and ONE candidate for Executive Committee. Upon selection of requisite numbers, the other selection options will get disabled
Confirmation message will appear on submission, members will be prompted to confirm their votes. Please click on Cancel in case you wish to make any changes to the options selected.
If members wish to re-exercise, need to click on Cancel to repeat the process from the beginning or Click on OK to complete the Voting process. If members have not excercised their vote and clicked on Submit button, in such a case it will be treated as ABSTAINED from e-voting and such members can cast vote physically at IIC on the specified date
Upon confirmation, members will get a message confirming successful registration of their votes.
E-Voting E-voting option is available to all eligible members from 0900 hrs. (IST) on 18/02/2019 to 1700 hrs. (IST) on 25/02/2019. Members residing in other countries are to specially note that their local time may vary from IST based on the country in which they are residing On 26/02/2019, M/s Karvy will forward to IIC the list of Members who have not cast their vote through E-voting website. Such members list would then be complied at IIC and only such members are eligible to cast their vote physically at IIC Physical voting by all those who have not voted through E-voting would be arranged at IIC from 16/03/2019 to 19/03/2019 from 0900 hrs. to 1700 hrs. daily The Counting of all votes would be done by Independent Scrutinisers on 28/03/2019 The result of election would be declared during Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held on 30/03/2019 at IIC
