  7. Whats new in FIS/AFIS? As of 27 January 2022 Common rules for the provision of flight information service (FIS), which includes aerodrome flight information service (AFIS); Standardised RT phraseologies for the provision of FIS and AFIS. 7

  8. EASA Standardisation activities Factors used when Member States determine the need for the provision of ATS. Appropriate MET services in AFIS aerodromes. Design of airspace structures. Maintenance and periodic review of flight procedures. Publication of available services and applicable differences in the national AIP. Management of the movement of vehicles and persons on the manoeuvring area by AFIS units. Use of the English language in the provision of FIS. 8
