  1. Intermittent Download Failure in Boot Mode using Vflash Tool. 19-Jul-2021 5acXjzUk

  2. Problem Statement ECU Application binary download is failing intermittently during preprogramming steps. Footnotes 2 Title of the presentation FAURECIA Date 5acXjzUk

  3. Summary of the Issue Detailed description As shown in figure, Application Binary download fails at the time of execution of preprogramming step intermittently. Error Message Response missing for RX_and_TX_Control(0x28 0x00 0x01) Download Failure Footnotes 3 Title of the presentation FAURECIA Date 5acXjzUk

  4. Analysis and Logs Title Log Referring to logs, download is failing when duration between Tester present(0x3E 0x80) and DisableTxandRx communication(0x85 0x02) is less than 1 ms. This behavior is observed whenever Tester present(0x3E 0x80) is active and duration between tester present and other other diagnostic messages is less than 1 ms . Download failed in preprogramming step boot failed download Download succeed in preprogramming step boot success download Root Cause If 2 consecutive message comes with different less than 1msec, then the second message is rejected as we are still servicing previous message. 4 Title of the presentation FAURECIA Date 5acXjzUk

  5. Solution Discussion Why ECU not able to serve two CAN messages for duration less than 1 ms? Can we improve CAN ISR processing time which takes less time to process in interrupt? 5 Title of the presentation FAURECIA Date 5acXjzUk
