114 students from Colorados Finest and EHS. 106 classes completed; about 32 classes a week completed. All core contents. 2 summer graduates. No discipline issues. Food services were excellent. EPS teaching staff that went above and beyond. OMT leads the way. Technology was flawless.
Student attendanceeffected class completion. CFAHS 31 registered, 11 no-shows EHS 83 invited 17 no-shows 63% overall attendance rate
Middle school All students improved their MAP test scores by an average of 5 points. Curriculum included: Success Maker, fractions, decimals, proportions, ratios, percentages, area and algebraic equations. Class placement: Miranda Price recommends 4 students for Algebra and 5 for pre-Algebra. Middle school 9 students (incoming 7 9 students (incoming 7th th and 8 and 8th th graders) graders) High school 6 of the 8 students improved their MAP test scores by an average of 8.6 points. Curriculum included: Math Navigator, fractions and operations and positive and negative numbers. Class placement: Beth Hankle recommends 4 for Algebra, two for Geometry and two for Pre-Algebra. High school 8 students (incoming 9 8 students (incoming 9th th graders) graders) Areas Areas for for Growth Growth: Increase student access and participation.

Four-Day Program focused on college and career readiness and exploration Ten Students Served Students visited Colorado State University, Colorado College, Arapahoe Community College, and Red Rocks Community College. Topics included work skills, resume building interview skills, mock interviews, choosing the right college, college application process.
Hosted by ACC Week-long program for 9th-12th graders 19 students accepted; 11 students participated Hands-on, project-based learning experiences focused on the Haitian earthquake which included the integration of geography, engineering, history, math, technology, and public heath. Future plans to expand for summer 2013
Four-day program focused on preparing students for the transition to high school as well as exploring postsecondary options 15 eighth grade students participated Students visited Colorado State University, Colorado College, Arapahoe Community College, and Red Rocks Community College. Topics included college admissions process, College in Colorado, learning styles, time management, goal setting, organization, dealing with stress, peer pressures, personal identity, etc.
