The educational system in Poland has undergone significant changes, with reforms implemented between 2017 and 2022/2023. These reforms include compulsory education for different age groups, such as full-time compulsory education for pupils aged 7-15 and part-time compulsory education for those aged 15-18. The new structure encompasses an 8-year primary school period followed by three options for further education. Secondary general schools offer a 4-year program culminating in the Matura Exam, providing access to higher education. Additionally, vocational education and technical secondary schools offer specialized training and vocational exams. These changes aim to enhance the quality of education and better prepare students for their future careers.
