THE EFFECT OF SPEED PARACHUTE ON INCREASING THE SPEED OF RUNNING WITH THE BALL ON SOCCER PLAYERS FAZA MUJAHID ADLHA 2008600 UNIVERSITAS PENDIDIKAN INDONESIA
BACKGROUND The success of sports achievement is an effort that can be calculated carefully through early coaching, mastery of technical skills, tactics and strategies and through various approaches (one of which is RUNNING WITH THE BALL) (Pujianto, 2015). Running with the ball training is an exercise that can develop the athlete's ability to dribble while running quickly and a little touch with the ball on a straight track (Wisnuaji, 2021). Speed parachute serves to increase maximum acceleration with the aim of increasing running speed by performing (Robid & Wijono, 2019). progressive resistance
Problem Formulation Is there a significant effect of speed parachute training on increasing the speed of running with the ball soccer players?
LITERATURE REVIEW Running with the ball is dribbling the ball as quickly as possible when there is free space. The running with the ball training method has an element of running speed and is in accordance with the actual match situation, so that the player's running speed increases and this increase affects the player's ability to compete (Saputro, Hariyoko and Amiq., 2016). Speed is a movement or journey that in a short time can cover a long distance. According to (Firman, 2021) that in soccer must have a speed component, it functions to support other players so as not to lose control of the ball. This means that soccer players must still be able to control the ball for a long time without having to reduce speed. Speed parachute is a tool used to increase running speed due to the air load that presses from the front so that it will provide pressure when running and if this exercise is done properly and repeatedly it will increase running speed and leg muscle explosiveness during acceleration (Suharti, Harwanto and BP., 2021).

DISCUSSION Based on the results of data analysis processing, it shows that there is an increase in the speed of running with the ball on UKM UPI soccer players by using speed parachute training. This can be proven by the results of the normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test which show that the experimental group with the speed parachute training method has a significant effect on increasing the speed of running with the ball soccer players. The literacy that researchers get is that there are articles that support the effect of speed parachute training on dribbling speed, such as research (Firman, 2021) which states that speed parachute training is a method that can be used to increase dribbling speed.
RESEARCH RESULT CHART Comparison of Land Pulley Exercise with Hand Paddle The difference between the effect of the experimental group and the control group is 0.056.
CONCLUSION Based on the results of a study entitled "The Effect of Speed Parachute on Increasing the Speed of Running With The Ball in Soccer Players" it can be concluded that there is a significant effect on speed parachute training on increasing the speed of running with the ball of soccer players in the UPI UKM sample. SUGGESTION 1. Further research researchers can conduct research to find out how many times players do dribbling or running with the ball during a 2x45 minute match. 2. Further research researchers can consider the tools used with a fixed load so that when doing all players use the same load. 3. Further research researchers can further look at other factors that increase the speed of dribbling soccer players, one of the factors that can be input for future researchers such as sample characteristics that may change such as applying to amateur players or athletes and samples of the female gender.
