Effective Brief Intervention for Enclosed Spaces Phobia
Study shows that a brief intervention based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) can effectively treat phobia of enclosed spaces. Results indicate significant improvement after 7 sessions, with 92% of participants completing a 30-minute MRI exam without anesthesia. More than one session may be needed for optimal results.
