  1. Quick practice on chart labels Task: On slide 2 there is a chart with badly formatted chart labels. Fix the problems and check with the solution on slide 3. Hint: you need to right click on the axes and select Format Axis

Summary of edits Remove italics Use a dark grey or black font colour Use a sans serif font (the font was originally in Times New Roman which is a serif font) Increase font size (all text should be as large as is reasonable) Add commas to the thousands on the y-axis changing the number format to Number instead of General allows you to do this.
