Analytics Analysis? Graph? Report ? Dashboard? Analytics can facilitate quick data analysis through a Report (aka Analysis). Multiple Reports can be combined to create a dashboard. Graphs can be added to a report or dashboard.
Effective dashboards Combine multiple data displays tables and graphs Show change over time Give the user some control over filtering or selecting data Don t overwhelm the viewer with too much information at once Summarize KPI (key performance indicators)
Primo Analytics Basic Dashboard Workflow 1. Create analyses for different subject areas 2. Add titles, graphs, or other visual/textual content to the Analysis 3. Add table prompts, if desired 4. Rearrange layout elements 5. Save the Analysis and repeat steps 1-4 for additional subject areas 6. Create a new Dashboard
Primo Interface - Key Terms Primo Action Provides information on end-user use of the various Primo functionality. Primo Device Usage - Provides information on types of devices used in Primo sessions. Primo Facets Provides information on facet usage. Primo Popular Searches Lists the details for the most popular searches. Primo Sessions Provides information on Primo sessions. Primo Zero Result Searches Lists the details for searches that found no results.
Analysis - Tabs Criteria Used to create the report columns and filters. Results Used to display the report with data relevant to your institution. Prompts Used to add report prompts. Advanced This tab is not described in this document and requires expert knowledge of OBI.
