Childrens Ministry Leadership Team God Pastor KunMin g Pastor Tom Children s Ministry Coordinator (currently Covered by Anita and Iris) Class Coordinators Nursery (Nellie), Preschool (Anita), Kindergarten (Anita), Grades 1&2 (Yang Ying), Grades 3&4 (Wang Jun), Grade 5(Iris), Special Needs (Iris), Kids Worship (Iris)

  3. We ask for a one year commitment of between 2 to 4 weeks per quarter.

  4. Coordinator Responsibilities Send weekly reminders to teachers and assistants Teach one month out of each quarter Meet and communicate with children s ministry team Meet regularly with teachers and assistants in class Work with teachers to provide special incentives (such as for memorizing verses), to decorate classroom, or to plan activities for class Keep an eye on attendance - contact new children/families or those who haven t been at church for a week or two.

  5. REQUIREMENTS TO SERVE IN CHILDREN S MINISTRY

  6. All Teachers, Nursery workers, and Assistants (Those working directly with children ) 1. Attend C4 for at least 6 months or provide a letter of reference from your previous church. 2. Attend Child Protection Training and have background screening done. 3. Love children

  7. Teachers: Believe in Jesus Christ as your personal savior and agree with the C4 Statement of faith.

  8. Others: Anyone can help with administrative, behind the scene tasks.

  9. Other Needs in Childrens Ministry Set up and maintain children s database Run background screening checks (Iris) Keep list of volunteers training and screening records (Iris) Take inventory and purchase supplies (Iris) Plan special events such as outreach or party (or visit to Jenni Lynn retirement center) Prepare curriculum (Iris) Scheduling teachers and assistants (Anita) Conduct Training (Anita)

  10. Other expectations If you are scheduled to serve during one hour, please make an effort to attend the Sunday School class or worship service the other hour. We want our workers to also be fed and to be a part of the church community. 10:00 a.m. English Worship Chinese Sunday School 11:15 a.m. Chinese Worship English Sunday School

  11. Even if you are not a kid person, and dont feel the Lord calling you to work with children, please be a prayer warrior. Choose a child or a family to pray for regularly.
