- This is the web-based platform used to assign games to officials - New officials will receive a notification to join our group, FCLOA - Contact information is accurate and updated - Blocks are placed on days or hours that you are not available for assignment - Mileage limits are set - Alternate leave site is selected when available outside the area Shared schedule in Arbiter - Schedule is shared with other Arbiter group sports - Schools that may present a conflict are blocked
The ladder of progression - Assigned as the umpire or field judge to less contentious games - Assigned as the U/FJ to more challenging games - Assigned as the Referee on less contentious games - Assigned as the Referee on challenging games - Assigned to FHSAA District or regional playoff game - Assignment to a FHSAA Championship tournament game

Observations FCLOA game observations and evaluations are tools to learn what you do well and what you need to build on. The written feedback provided is not a criticism. It s a guide to improvement. Asking for a written evaluation shows your assigner that you care to improve and grow as an official. It demonstrates initiative and the willingness to take instruction and learn.
