Genetec CCTV End-User Training Project Summary Prepared for: Prepared by: Cindy Kuragami July 2019
Phase 1: Discovery Interviews were conducted with the following employees: Craig Loyd (VP of Operations) Bobby Ortega (Systems Engineer) Lana McConnell (Executive Accounts Manager) Top Current User-Needs: Overview of Security Desk navigation Viewing live video including bookmarking incidents Searching recorded video Exporting video clips Future topics to consider pending configuration at time of install and compatibility with cameras: Using maps in Genetec (requires Plan Manager License) Using visual tracking Cindy Kuragami | (714) 343-9034 | cindy.kuragami@gmail.com 2
Phase 2: PowerPoint Slides Four separate PowerPoint files were created. These are intended to be left behind with current and new Genetec end-users to serve as reference material for common end-user tasks. Each PowerPoint file addresses each of the four user-needs: Overview of Security Desk navigation Viewing live video and bookmarking incidents Searching video Exporting video clips Cindy Kuragami | (714) 343-9034 | cindy.kuragami@gmail.com 3
Phase 3: Demonstration Videos Four demonstration videos were created. These are meant to serve as instruction in lieu of or as an enhancement to training conducted by JMG Tech Support. Final Phase: Review and Revisions All PowerPoint slides and videos were created in close consult with Craig Loyd, VP of Operations. Please review the slides and videos with key team members and contact me with any questions you may have or any revisions you would like to request. I will consider this project completed if I do not receive any requests for revisions by July 28, 2019 and will then coordinate with you on delivery of final files.
