Coaching is a collaborative, short- to mid-term process that helps individuals grow by asking powerful questions, encouraging reflection, and supporting problem-solving without giving direct answers. Mentoring is a relationship-based process where someone with experience offers guidance, advice, and support to someone newer or growing in their role or career.
