  3. What could have gone better? Start and end on time, even if not everyone is there Have an agenda Be prepared Put away extraneous technology Stay on task Summarize decisions, assignments and deadlines

  4. Quick review of the roles of officers in meetings President: Preside over meetings and develop agendas (The president never makes a motion). Vice President: Take on responsibilities of the president in their absence Secretary: Maintain a record of all Student Activities Council meetings including all motions and votes. Print and distribute agendas and proceedings for all meetings. Treasurer: Report the group s financial status regularly to organization officers and members. Parliamentarian: Maintain order according to Robert s Rules of Order throughout Student Activities Council meetings.

  13. Take turns selecting roles from the envelope marked ROLES in the activity box until they are gone (You may have at most one SAC Officer Role) Read and prepare your roles. Some fun props are available in the box and in individually marked envelopes to support character development. Work through the agenda with guidance from you advisor/observer
