  2. From Announcement From Announcement 13 March MC 13 March MC Telecon Telecon The Management Council did reach a decision on Packed Data. They considered three choices: 1. No packed data as a primary product in the archive without exception 2. No packed data as a primary product with the exception of DSN data and raw Radio Science data. 3. No packed data as a primary product with the exception of DSN data, raw Radio Science data, and Telemetry. The second of the three choices was selected. Option 2 will become PDS policy. We will post it to pds.nasa.gov/policy. We can spend a few minutes on next steps on the Monday telecon.

  4. Possible Policy Statement Wording: Possible Policy Statement Wording: Effective immediately, no PDS4 Product_Observational may contain a Packed_Data_Fields object. Packed_Data_Fields is allowed in other Product subclasses, if an unpacked version of the same data is also provided. DSN data and raw radio science data are exempt from this restriction.
