  1. Instructions Templates can help you maintain consistency and professionalism in your presentations. This presentation template is designed to be used by Chesapeake Bay Program staff, grantees and contractors who are representing work that was completed in support of the Chesapeake Bay Program partnership. For example: Are you delivering a training about a Chesapeake Bay Program tool? Are you providing an overview of a topic of interest to your Team, GIT or Workgroup? Are you presenting a GIT or Workgroup initiative at a conference? Then this template may be for you! Please note: This template should not replace your use of the presentation template that supports the Biennial Strategy Review System. How to Use This Template To use the Google Slides version of this template, make a copy of this file and save it to your own Google Drive folder: Click File > Make a copy, and then select Entire presentation or Selected slides. Rename the file, select a destination folder and click Make a copy.

  2. Instructions The next two slides contain five guidelines to help you use this template effectively. Additional Accessibility Tips can be found in this template s speaker notes. (1) Maintain Consistent Design Elements Slide Layout:Use the predefined slide layouts that are provided in this template. These layouts are designed to maintain consistency and professionalism throughout your presentation. Colors and Fonts:Stick with the color scheme and font styles provided in this template. Avoid using additional colors or fonts, as these may deviate from our organization s brand identity. Logo Placement: Do not move, change or remove the Chesapeake Bay Program logo from the title slide. (2) Use Standard Slide Types Title Slide: Begin your presentation with the title slide. Enter the required information, including the presentation title, date and any other relevant details. Content Slides:Use bullet points, images, charts or tables to present your information effectively. Closing Slide:End your presentation with the closing slide. This slide can include the presenter s contact information, a call-to-action or other relevant details.

  3. Instructions (3) Customize Content Text: Replace the default text in this template with your own content, and remove any content that isn t needed. Make sure your text is clear, concise and relevant to the presentation topic. Images:Replace placeholder images with high-quality visuals related to your presentation. Make sure the images are properly aligned, and fit within the designated spaces. You can use images from our Flickr collection, but permission is required. Send an email with the image URL and its intended use to requests@chesapeakebay.net. (4) Pay Attention to Alignment and Spacing Alignment:Align text, images, charts, tables and other elements based on this template s guidelines. Consistent alignment will enhance your presentation s visual appeal. Spacing:Maintain consistent spacing between elements. Avoid cluttered or crowded slides that may distract an audience. (5) Proofread and Review Before finalizing your slides, check your content for spelling and grammatical errors, and review your presentation s overall flow and structure. Make sure all elements are in place, and that your presentation aligns with the Chesapeake Bay Program s style guidelinesand brand identity. Need a second pair of eyes?
