Understanding the problem If you do not understand the problem you can never solve it. If you really understand the problem you can see a solution.
Problem: Find the length of the diagonal of the rectangular parallelepiped given its length width and height Understand the problem This is find type problem, Hence we identify unknowns, data and conditions
Solution plan: Pythagoras theorem
Here, we want to find the unknowns x, y . X2 = c2 + y2 Hence, by using theorem y2 = a2 +b2
Understanding Customers requirement Ask right kind of questions 1. Close-ended questions Short questions Definite answers like yes or no Ex. Are you feeling better today? Is that your final answer? 2. Open ended questions Detail response from a customer Ex. What are you planning to buy today at the supermarket? What was your high school experience like? 3. Strategic questions Treat customer as a expert and lead customer into deeper conversation Ex. Tell me about how your company uses tools ?
Employers requirement Work when you are on the clock Follow company policies Respect co-workers and build trust Exhibits responsible behavior Bad mouthing your employer Confidentiality Teamwork
Technology Requirement Take an example to develop new software project and decide the technology which is better suitable for the project .
