Disseminating your Research: An Introduction Disseminating your Research helps researchers understand the best ways to communicate their research, from navigating the publishing world to maximising potential at conferences by using new digital tools that enhance research impact in the wider world. These courses equip researchers with the knowledge, skills and tools to get published in journals, books and other media, as well as disseminating their findings at online and offline conferences, doing presentations, networking and building their reputation as researchers.
Disseminating your Research: Structure Module 1: Getting Started with Publishing Getting Published Approximately 2 hours This course offers a practical guide to the publishing process, equipping researchers with the knowledge and tools to publish successfully in journals, books and other more innovative publishing forms. It includes a new module on how to use new digital tools to measure your publishing impact. Module 2: The Publishing Process: Pre-Submission Module 3: The Publishing Process: Submission and Review Module 4: Publishing with Impact Module 1: Effective Communication Communicating your Research with Impact Approximately 1 hour This course teaches researchers to communicate effectively to a wide range of audiences. It equips researchers with the skills to build strong networks and the knowledge to use new digital communication methods, building resilience and enhancing their reputation as a researcher.
