This document includes templates to help you: map your stakeholders create stakeholder profiles create a system stakeholder map You can use also print or recreate these templates on paper.
Map your stakeholders Use these templates to identify who the stakeholders are and how best to inform them.
Identify your stakeholders Write down all of the stakeholders, including individuals, groups or organisations, who will be involved and can influence your project. Head of Service Product manager
Group your stakeholders by type Copy across your stakeholders and place them in the relevant circle. Informed Involved Core Core team day-to-day project team Involved regularly providing input, making decisions and helping to move the project forward Informed people to keep up to date, but likely not directly involved in the project
Plan how to involve your stakeholders in your work Copy across your stakeholders and answer the following questions: What is the best communication channel/method? Who will be invited and when? Stakeholders

Create a system stakeholder map - part 1 Policy and society Create a broad list of all the people in the wider system. Services and organisations Example stakeholder types: Policy: laws, rules, regulations, societal values & assumptions Services and organisations: schools, health care, councils, businesses, organisations, charities, clubs Social environment Social environment: individual relationships, families, support groups, social networks Individual: individual attitudes, beliefs, behaviours, needs, knowledge/capability, resources Individual
