Effective Strategies for Homelessness in Clatsop County
Addressing the homelessness concern in Clatsop County, the County-Wide Homeless Liaison and its subcommittee members work towards connecting unsheltered citizens with vital resources. The liaison's duties include engaging with the community, identifying gaps in services, and acting as a bridge between various agencies. Outreach responsibilities involve collaborating with medical and law enforcement services, as well as facilitating community education. The ultimate goal is to improve access to services, streamline assistance, and reduce duplication in efforts to combat homelessness.
