  2. Universal Tracking at UF Universal Tracking is the university's monitoring system that assesses progress toward the student's degree requirements. It provides feedback on the student s progress in a major, helping her or him to find the best academic path to complete their degree Starts in the ~7thweek of the term February 19th, 2018 (predicted) 4 days of review Student Receives Email and notification of Hold Holds removed at advisor s discretion/when tracking met University of Florida. Universal Tracking in the Fisher School FSOA begins after grades for the prior term (December 19th, 2017) A week prior to University tracking, run an internal report University Universal Tracking (February 19th-23rd) Holds Outreach to students via email The Universal Tracking Agreement Continued Communication with students Release of holds or Required Major changes.

  4. The Internal Report Request from the college 1-2 weeks prior to Universal Tracking Initially comes out after grades, this is a re-run. Comes with students information including why they are off track, grades, courses, both, etc. Considerably more detail-specific courses, what their GPAs are, etc. Reviewed, and re-reviewed Wait

The Holds The Universal Tracking Hold Everyone who was on the University list and not overridden Those only on the college list do not get this hold Term-based tracking holds Fall, Spring and Summer Inhibits next term registration for tracking purposes The Permanent Tracking Hold If a student was off track for two terms and can no longer remain in the major Permanent

  9. Universal Tracking Week: The Email tracking hold placed on your record February 23rd and will not be able to register for future terms. To discuss your universal tracking hold and how to make up your academic deficiency, please schedule an appointment with your advisor. Our records indicate you have a universal Student receive their notification email from the University andan email from our office Our email initiates student response and action Advising appointments fill up quickly, so please make an appointment as soon as possible. In the event that you cannot make an appointment, we will be available to address tracking holds during our regularly scheduled Friday walk-in hours from 8:30am-1pm beginning Friday, March 2nd. This is a courtesy email to inform you of your Early Alerts After reviewing your Fall 2017 grades, we have determined you do not currently meet the 3.0 Preprofessional and/or 3.0 overall UF GPA Universal Tracking requirements. Additionally, you did not earn the required minimum "B" grade in Introduction to Financial Accounting, ACG 2021 Using the post-grades college report, create a mini-database Establish those expected to be off track At this time, no action is required, other than to register appropriately and achieve sufficient grades in the Spring 2018 terms. Later in the Spring 2018 semester you will receive a reminder regarding your Universal Tracking status Send anticipated off-track students their respective email

  12. Continued Communication With Students If a student was off track in the Fall, and off track for the first time They have until the end of the following Summer to restore tracking They come in initially in the Fall Receive an in-person reminder in the Spring

Tracking Deadline Student Met Tracking Student did not meet tracking Remove all holds and apply Permanent Hold Met in Full: remove all holds Our records indicate you met the terms for your Spring 2018 Universal Tracking Agreement and have fully restored you tracking deficiency. Your registration hold has been removed, and you are able to register for courses Our records indicate you did not meet the terms for your Fall 2017 Universal Tracking Agreement. Accordingly, your Accounting Registration hold cannot be removed. In order to continue to register at the University of Florida, you must be admitted to a new major Met in Full early: remove all holds Our records indicate you met the terms of your Fall 2017 Universal Tracking Agreement early and have fully restored you tracking deficiency. Your registration hold, which would have prevented registering for Fall 2018 and beyond, has been removed Met first agreement: remove respective holds Our records indicate you met the terms for your Spring 2018 Universal Tracking Agreement. This will allow you to register for the purpose of completing your Summer 2018 Universal Tracking Agreement
