  1. Procurement Peoplesoft Training Acquisition Processing

  2. Cancel Requisitions 2 3/25/2024

  3. Cancel Requisitions Peoplesoft requisitions that require editing or that have been denied may be edited and resubmitted for approval. If the requisition is not needed, the requisition needs to be Budget Checked and Cancelled. Open and Denied requisitions still encumber Department funds and cancelling them releases the funding. Select the eProcurement tile. 3 3/25/2024

  4. Navigate to Manage Requisitions on the left navigation. Select clear, enter your Business Unit of Normn or OUHSC. Select the status in the Request State drop down and then select Search. 4 3/25/2024

  5. Requisitions that have a valid budget can be cancelled immediately. Requisitions with a Not Chk d or Error status must be updated as needed, budget checked and the result must be Valid or the requisition cannot be cancelled. For the first requisition, select the Select Action drop down, choose Check Budget, and select Go. This will budget check the requisition. 5 3/25/2024

  6. Update Budget Error Requisition To update a requisition with a budget error, select Edit in the Select Action drop down box and then select Go. A popup message will warn the requisition failed budget check. Select OK. 6 3/25/2024

  7. Accounting Next select the small triangle on each line to see the accounting information. 7 3/25/2024

  8. Accounting Update the Price or select the triangle by the Accounting Lines to update accounting information. 8 3/25/2024

  9. If you set up default accounting, the requisition lines will automatically populate with the coding established. You must update the Account code, and double check the accounting on each line. If you did not set up default accounting, fill in your Department s accounting codes specific to each line. If you are unsure what codes should be used in the Accounting Lines, please contact Finance. 9 3/25/2024

  10. Budget check the requisition and, if the budget is Valid, then select Save and Submit. 10 3/25/2024

  11. Once the Budget is Valid, select Cancel in the Select Action drop down and select Go. 11 3/25/2024

  12. A new screen will appear that displays the requisition information. At the bottom of the screen, select the Cancel Requisition button. v The requisition will be canceled. 12 3/25/2024

  13. Cancel Lines Select Manage Requisitions on the left navigation. Select clear, enter your Business Unit of NORMN or OUHSC. Enter the requisition number that needs to be updated and then select Search. 13 3/25/2024

  14. Select the triangle by the requisition number. The requisition information displays. Select the red X icon to cancel the line. 14 3/25/2024

  15. A popup will appear asking if you want to cancel the line. Select OK. 15 3/25/2024

  16. In Manage Requisitions, select the check budget option to complete the process. 16 3/25/2024
