Subaward/Subcontract Tracking within SIMBA Presented by Barbara Rigg
Are you tired of having to keep a shadow system for your subawards/subcontracts? Well, SIMBA has the functionality we have all been waiting for to track our subaward and subcontract awards, invoices and payments all in one system!
Objective: This session will provide an overview of the tiles and screens within SIMBA where this information can be entered and tracked. You will also learn about the various system-generated reports that can be shared with your faculty to help keep them informed of their subrecipient balances. Say goodbye to those old tracking spreadsheets and take advantage of the new function within the SIMBA system!
NOTE: This functionality will only work if the Subaward or Subcontract is set up as a separate 50 IO/Sponsored Program under the Grant. This should be done via the IAF tab for Award Set-Up or by sending a request via the Manual Account Set-Up Form to Research Accounting.

Important tips when making entries: right hand corner of the Activities Tab Make sure you press the Accept button at the bottom Accept hand corner of the Sponsored Program Subaward page Make sure you press the Save button at the bottom right Save **Cost Share or In-Kind can also be tracked**
