Toolkit: Preview #3 Searches and User Profiles
Global Search Search for Users The Global Search feature on the right side of the banner provides convenient access to user profiles, incidents and requests
Global Search Search for Users Click on the search icon to open the Global Search window. Enter a user s name in the Global Search field. Your results will immediately display after you hit the enter key. If you only enter a first name, you will receive a list of results for users with that first name.
Global Search - Search Results The below image provides an overview of the details that display in Global Search results
Global Search Search Results Click on a user s name to display their profile.
User Profiles You will return to the content area and more details about the user will appear on the screen.
User Profiles o The following fields in ServiceNow were populated using the SCEIS Organizational Unit (OU) in Active Directory (AD): o First name o Last name o Agency name Most phone numbers and email addresses were not migrated from CA Service Desk
