Water treatment plants utilize various processes such as screening, coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, filtration, and disinfection to produce water of desirable quality. Additional processes like aeration, chemical precipitation, activated carbon adsorption, fluoridation, and membrane treatment may also be employed. Factors such as raw water quality characteristics and seasonal variations play a crucial role in determining the appropriate treatment methods for a particular plant.
