Water treatment plant utilize many treatment process to to produce water of desirble quality The most common process in conventional treatment plants are screen , coagulation , flocculation sedimentation, filtration and disinfection.
Other process that might be used in treatment processes are aeration , chemical preciptation, activated carbon adsorption, fouridation, membrane.
Many factors should be considered in determination of the required process in a certain treatment plant such as characteristics and seasonal variation in the raw water quality.
