  2. School board employees, who seek a gift or donation through a crowdfunding website to benefit the school district, MUST follow specific guidelines

  3. Communicate to your principal about your campaign and complete the following: Fund Raising/Activity Request form Crowdfunding Checklist Ensure the crowdfunding organization is registered in the district s VendorLink website

  4. Keep documentation about your campaign, including: Copies of completed forms Reports from the crowdfunding organization disclosing information about the donation and fees charged

  5. Create campaigns that benefit an individual or outside organization or charity Reveal information that violates student privacy Photos of students Disabilities of students in classroom Description of school s population such as nationality, language barriers, or income level

  6. Request donations for technology the district is required to provide under IDEA Request donations to fund purposes schools are legally required to meet Have anything related to the campaign mailed to your home Use personal bank accounts in association with a campaign

  7. Must be shipped to your school Will be the property of the receiving school and must follow inventory practices Must be used for the stated purpose of the campaign Monetary donations must be in the form of a check made payable to the school
