Qualtrics & Bentley University Qualtrics & Bentley University All Bentley students and faculty members can benefit from free access to Qualtrics by using their @bentley.edu emails a link to log-in > https://bentley.co1.qualtrics.com Do not create a new account Note that all surveys have predefined design with Bentley s logo as a survey header
Survey Design Survey Design Think before you start What is your objective What type of answers you would like to have Who will be your responders One you have a clear idea what you want to achieve then you can move on to your questions
Create your first survey Create your first survey Log in to Qualtrics via https://bentley.co1.qualtrics.com At the top right corner of the screen you will find a button [Create new project] Click on it A new survey project is created

Add questions to Add questions to your survey your survey There are many different question types that you can choose from Click on the big green button on our righthand side under the caption Change Question Type Note that the default question type is Multiple Choice You can change the number of choices per question using the + and - buttons
Send out your Send out your survey survey Go to the Distributions Tab You can choose from 4 different options (Online panel is not available) Use the Mobile option to create a custom QR Code Use the Web option to create a sharable custom link
Survey Reponses Survey Reponses All survey responses are available in the Data & Analytics tab sort and filter the responses and export them in a .csv file as well. Data & Analytics tab. You can
Filter responses Filter responses You can add multiple filters to zero in on a specific set of responses You can filter by question answers or system parameters such as the duration of a response, distribution channel etc.
Cross Tab Cross Tab The Cross tab data analysis option works as a pivot table. You can choose what question/system parameters to be the cross tab columns and rows In the Cell window, you can choose that arithmetic operation you would like to use to summarize your responses Count Percentage Average Median Standard Deviation Others
